Quinton Maxwell, a senior at Show Low High, won the Division 3 boys shot put title with a lifetime-best effort of 63 feet (19.20m) in the sixth round at the Arizona Interscholastic Association State Championships at Mesa Community College. Maxwell produced the top mark in Arizona Division 3 history and equaled the No. 8 competitor all-time in the state.
